Career Teachers are currently working with a Primary School based in Lambeth who are seeking an exceptional Learning Support Assistant.

Learning Support Assistant – Lambeth, London

The school holds a “Good” Ofsted grade, and the school prides themselves in their supportive and creative environment for both students and staff alike.

Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher in developing the learning of all pupils and at times work with individual children on a 1:1 basis.
• We are currently seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to work on either a 1:1 basis, or within a group of students.

Qualifications & Experience

• The successful candidate will have past LSA experience, ideally supporting children with ASD, ADHD and Language Difficulties.
• The ideal candidate is flexible and accommodating and passionate about the progress of students inside the classroom and outside.

Requirements to Apply

• A good academic background
• An ability to manage groups of children, possessing great behaviour management skills
• Excellent communication skills – spoken and written
• Good organisation skills
