An established and growing engineering business is seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join its production team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands‑on assembly experience who takes pride in precision, quality, and working to high engineering standards.

The Role as Mechanical Assembler

You will be responsible for assembling mechanical components and sub-assemblies, ensuring all products are built accurately and meet strict quality requirements. The role involves working from technical drawings, using a variety of hand and power tools, and carrying out checks to ensure consistency and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical parts and sub-assemblies in line with engineering specifications
• Interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and assembly instructions
• Use hand tools and light machinery to complete assembly tasks
• Carry out quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards
• Support basic maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment where required
• Work efficiently to meet production deadlines in a fast-paced environment

About You

• Previous experience in a mechanical assembly or similar hands‑on role
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
• Good manual dexterity and practical problem‑solving skills
• Able to manage workload and meet tight deadlines
