Yeovil & Local Villages – Part-time & Full-time

£13.30 an hour on weekdays & £14.10 on weekends PLUS DOUBLE PAY on Bank Holiday. Mileage paid at 0.45p per mile when you have your client with you.

Job Description

As an experienced Care Assistant, Support Worker, HCS or Home Carer with at least 2 years experience we are now offering Sponsorship. You’ll be supporting older adults with their routines, providing reassurance and helping them feel safe at home.

Key Tasks

• Personal care (washing, toileting, dressing)
• Giving medication support and support with mobility
• Preparing light meals, drinks and snacks
• Offering companionship and conversation at the end of the day
• Recording simple care notes after each visit
• Taking clients out into the community for socialising or appointments

Ideal Candidate

• A valid Category B driving license is an agenuine occupational requirement for this role due to the need to travel between remote sites where public transport is unavailable.
• Willing to complete an Enhanced DBS
• Level 4 English and IT literate
• A desire to genuinely help other people and make a difference
• Resilient, reliable, proactive with a can-do attitude
