Havant Borough Council’s Active Wellbeing Team is seeking an organised, proactive and community‑focused individual to provide exemplary administration support in the co‑ordination of projects and partnerships that aim to enable residents facing health inequalities to become more physically active.
Responsibilities
- Respond to enquiries through the council’s various access channels and handle requests efficiently.
- Perform administration tasks to support the delivery of projects such as the Get Up and Go programme.
- Provide positive, considerate service throughout the customer journey from initial enquiry through to activity attendance and retention.
- Support administration for partnerships and contract monitoring relating to sport, physical activity, leisure and recreational projects and facilities.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in administration and a proactive approach to work.
- Strong customer focus, attention to detail and enthusiasm for projects that influence health behaviour.
- Experience working with communities and/or public sector partners.
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Confidence in using Microsoft Office and various online tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
- Effective communication with a wide range of people through multiple channels.
