- Delivering high‑quality personal care, ensuring dignity and respect are always maintained.
- Assisting residents in developing independence and achieving their goals.
- Creating engaging activities and supporting participation.
- Contributing to a positive and supportive home environment.
- Working as a team to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
We maintain staffing ratios of 1:2 for night shifts and either 1:1 or 2:1 for day shifts, depending on the residents’ needs. With four permanent residents, even those working bank or casual shifts will quickly become familiar with both our residents and the team.

- Are caring and compassionate, with an understanding of person‑centred care.
- Possess excellent communication skills (experience with non‑verbal communication, such as Makaton, BSL, or PECS, is advantageous).
- Ideally have experience supporting people with learning disabilities in a residential setting (other relevant experience is also welcome).
- Are flexible, adaptable, and responsive to changing needs.
- Understand safeguarding and risk assessments.
