Property Manager / Lettings Administrator
Wolverhampton
Basic Salary up to £26,000 depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm
Our client is a well‑established independent lettings agent who provides a fully encompassing lettings and property management service at a local level. They are currently looking for an experienced Property Manager / Lettings Administrator, with a proven track record in the management of a residential portfolio, for their very busy lettings department.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the management of allocated property portfolio to maximise office income, including the retention of properties and clients
- Assist with the management of all property maintenance issues
- Generate tenancy agreements and individual property files
- Organise the renewal of gas safety certificates, EPC’s, and EICR’s as required
- Negotiate between tenant and landlord deposit returns and administer paperwork
- Liaise with landlords and negotiate with contractors for works to be carried out on managed properties
- Effectively communicate and resolve issues by telephone and e‑mails
Qualifications
- Minimum of 12 months experience in a property management role
- Strong track record of meeting and exceeding deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced challenging environment
- Self‑motivation, determination with a ‘can do’ attitude
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to build rapport with landlords, tenants and service providers
- Professional, positive, ambitious and enthusiastic approach
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Keen eye for detail and accuracy
- Ensuring all processes and procedures remain fully compliant
- Must possess property management / lettings administration experience
