Overview
We are looking for a Fun, Bubbly Female Support Assistant/Companion to support a 17‑year‑old young woman with her social activities. The young woman is autistic and has sensory issues and requires encouragement and support with socialising.
Job type: Part‑time, Permanent.
Working Hours
Flexible 6 hours per week, usually split into two 3‑hour shifts. Hours can be discussed at interview. The role starts on a trial basis to confirm the right fit.
Remuneration & Benefits
£13.25 per hour, with 5.6 weeks paid annual leave on a pro‑rata basis.
Requirements
Enhanced DBS and references are required before employment commences.
Female applicants only, in accordance with Equality Act 2010, due to the nature of the support required.
Driving licence and access to a car is an advantage but not essential; public transport may be used.
Qualifications & Experience
- At least 1 year working with people with autism (preferred).
- Driving licence (preferred).
