Were looking for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our Finance team and play a key role in keeping our processes accurate, organised, and running smoothly.
This role offers a great opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment, working closely with colleagues across the business. You’ll gain exposure to group-level processes, contribute to improvements, and play a part in ensuring everything behind the scenes works as it should.
What you will be doing
In this role, you’ll be involved in a variety of activities, including:
- Processing supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
- Managing supplier statement reconciliations and resolving queries
- Supporting weekly payment runs in line with deadlines
- Working closely with teams across the business to ensure timely approvals
- Assisting with month‑end activities and reconciliations
- Contributing to improving and standardising purchase ledger processes across the group
Who we are looking for
Were looking for someone who is organised, detail‑focused, and comfortable working with high volumes of data.
Youll ideally bring:
- At least 2 years experience in a purchase ledger or similar role
- Strong Excel skills and experience using finance systems (Sage is a bonus)
- A proactive approach, with the ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines
- Good communication skills and confidence working with colleagues at all levels Experience in a multi‑site or service‑based environment (desirable)
If you also have experience supervising or leading elements of a process, even better – but its not essential.
