An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Multi-Skilled Plumber to join a growing Facilities Management team supporting a large university campus in Bristol.
This role is ideal for someone with strong plumbing and building maintenance experience who enjoys a varied workload, problem-solving, and working within a customer-focused environment.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of mechanical and plumbing systems, ensuring buildings and equipment are maintained to a high standard.
Key responsibilities
- Planned preventative maintenance on mechanical and plumbing systems
- Reactive repairs to plumbing, heating and ventilation systems
- Fault finding and resolving technical maintenance issues
- Minor building fabric repairs where required
- Completing maintenance reports and electronic job records
- Liaising with helpdesk teams and on-site stakeholders
- Ensuring all works are completed safely and in line with regulations
- Participating in an out-of-hours rota
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing or higher
- Minimum 3 years’ experience within building maintenance or facilities management
- Experience with planned and reactive maintenance of mechanical systems
- CSCS or ECS Card
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
