Responsibilities

  • Design and conduct experiments to test hypotheses, optimise device efficacy, and enhance user outcomes.
  • Collect, analyse, and interpret data to support research findings and product improvements.
  • Develop prototypes for proof‑of‑principle studies and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate solutions into physical products.
  • Maintain accurate records of research processes, results, and methodologies, and prepare reports and presentations for internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Work closely with senior researchers, clinicians, and cross‑departmental teams to integrate solutions into prototypes and products, providing technical support during clinical studies and validation processes.
  • Analyse user data and feedback to refine device features and improve outcomes for diverse skin wellness applications.
  • Ensure all research activities align with ethical guidelines and regulatory standards.

Key Objectives

  • Support research and development through conducting experiments and analysing data.
  • Collaborate with teams to integrate solutions into products.
  • Stay updated and document work.
  • Adhere to compliance standards.

Required Experience

  • 1‑3 years of research & development experience preferably in skincare, medical devices, or a related industry (MSc projects considered).
  • Understanding of experimental design, data analysis, and statistical methods.
  • Background in engineering, bio‑engineering, chemistry or a related field.

Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge of mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • Knowledge of routine lab analysis and biological compounds.
  • Experience in using Arduino, LabView or similar.

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or a related field.
