Opportunity

Your role

As a QC Technician Intern, you will support a range of laboratory activities within our Quality Control team.

  • Gain hands‑on experience working in a regulated laboratory environment
  • Support the preparation and delivery of samples and testing required to maintain product quality
  • Learn how to accurately document laboratory work in line with industry and compliance requirements
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities within the team
  • Collaborate with colleagues across Quality Control, Manufacturing Operations, and Technical Operations

Sample Preparation placement

  • Support the preparation of samples for Quality Control testing, including patient samples and evaluation materials
  • Assist with stress testing and preparation of samples across different stages of testing
  • Ensure samples are handled and prepared in line with laboratory standards and procedures
  • Support bioburden testing of environmental, raw material, and product samples
  • Assist in microbiological testing processes within a regulated laboratory setting

This is a site‑based role, working 5 days per week in Llanberis.

About you

We are looking for an undergraduate student currently studying towards a Bachelors or Masters degree in a Biological Sciences discipline, seeking a 12‑month internship opportunity.

  • A proactive and flexible approach, with good time management skills
  • Confidence working in a laboratory‑based environment
  • Experience of working as part of a team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • An interest in healthcare and laboratory‑based roles

No extensive industry experience is required – we’ll support you as you develop your skills.
