Overview

An ambitious and highly regarded primary school in West Didsbury is seeking to appoint an exceptional KS2 Teacher to join the team on a full‑time, fixed‑term contract from September to February. The school is known for its strong community ethos, high standards, and commitment to excellence in teaching and learning.

Responsibilities

• Have proven experience teaching in Key Stage 2
• Demonstrate strong curriculum knowledge and confident assessment practices
• Deliver engaging, purposeful, and well‑structured lessons
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
• Be reflective, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement
• Thrive as part of a collaborative and high‑performing team

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Teaching experience in KS2
• Subject to an enhanced DBS check and must provide two excellent references
