Location: Newcastle area. Contract + hybrid based.

Company

Manufacturing business operating in the Aerospace sector, designing, manufacturing and delivering commercial aircraft, with a Space and Defence division.

Role

Software Architect in a small, experienced, collaborative team. Responsibilities include:

• Translate business goals and high-level requirements into robust software architectures.
• Design scalable, flexible, and maintainable architectures for complex geospatial systems using modern cloud-based technologies and tools.
• Identify technical risks early and define pragmatic mitigation strategies.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience designing and owning software architectures for complex systems, preferably in a cloud environment, with awareness of DevSecOps.
• Exposure to working in environments with security, reliability and compliance constraints, preferably in the geospatial domain.
