We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Support Worker to join our Pharmacy team at HMP Wealstun. HMP Wealstun is a Category C men’s prison with an operational capacity of around 1000. The prison has good transport links, as well as a free onsite car park. This is a fantastic opportunity start or continue your career in Pharmacy and Healthcare – ideally you will have previous experience within pharmacy, but this isn’t essential. Salary This is a full time role, and the salary is £24,667 per annum., We are looking for caring, compassionate but also driven professionals who can help us drive our vision for a fair and inclusive healthcare access to all. Our new Pharmacy Support Worker will have:
- No experience is necessary – we are looking for someone with a keen interest in Pharmacy, and keen to pursue a career in Pharmacy and Healthcare within a prison
- An NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Dispensing would be a bonus, but isn’t essential
- Ideally have medicines handling experience, although not essential
- Have a proactive approach, with excellent communication skills
