Salary/Rate: £16 – £18/hour

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Rehabilitation Assistant to support an individual with cerebral palsy in a home‑based setting. This role focuses on promoting independence and quality of life through personalised, person‑centred support.

This position is a 4‑week rolling rota with a total of 84 hours per month.

Working Hours – 4 Week Rolling Rota

• Week 1: 20 hours (Thursday: 9:00 am–4:00 pm; Saturday: 3:00 pm–10:00 pm; Sunday: 12:00 pm–6:00 pm)
• Week 2: 21 hours (Thursday: 9:00 am–9:00 pm; Sunday: 12:00 pm–9:00 pm)
• Week 3: 23 hours (Wednesday: 3:00 pm–10:00 pm; Friday: 9:00 am–4:00 pm; Saturday: 12:00 pm–9:00 pm)
• Week 4: 20 hours (Thursday: 12:00 pm–10:00 pm; Saturday: 12:00 pm–10:00 pm)

Support Worker – Key Responsibilities

• Support mobility, positioning, and daily routines in line with care plans.
• Assist with physiotherapy exercises and encourage participation in everyday activities.
• Provide personal care where required, ensuring dignity and respect at all times.
• Offer emotional support and companionship, helping to build confidence.
• Monitor and record any changes, maintain clear documentation, and support communication with family and professionals.
• Assist with light household tasks, meal preparation, and attending appointments or social activities.

Support Worker – Requirements

• Valid UK driving licence.
• Previous experience in care or support work is desirable but not essential.
• Good communication and IT skills, able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Patient, reliable, and respectful approach.
