We’re on the hunt for genuinely caring, hands‑on Support Workers who enhance the quality of life of the people we support. As a Support Worker with us, you’ll help people gain independence in their daily lives while working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people.
Our residential service is a grade two listed building set in the beautiful rural location of Wiveliscombe, featuring an orchard, a log cabin art hub and a pond. You can be sure that no two days will be the same.
Your day will include assisting with personal care, encouraging residents to access their local community, socialise and participate in entertaining activities.
We expect our Support Workers to hold a full UK driving licence, be resilient, flexible and composed, and have experience following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice. Experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviours of distress, mental‑health conditions, autism and people who have experienced trauma, is also required.
Why choose us?
We embrace people’s differences and encourage you to be yourself, and so long as you’ve got the passion to make someone’s life better, we can give you all the skills and development opportunities you need to build a great career.
We encourage our staff to grow together through an excellent training programme, starting at induction and continuing throughout your career, with opportunities for promotion, progression and job security in a leading sector organisation.
All applicants and subsequent job offers will be subject to satisfactory DBS checks and references.
