Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an HGV Class 1 ADR Tanker Driver located in Immingham. The role involves the safe and timely transportation of a liquid goods via ISO tanker trucks, adhering to ADR and all safety regulations and company procedures. Drivers will inspect vehicles, plan delivery routes, and communicate effectively with the logistics team to ensure smooth operations. Additional responsibilities include managing relevant documentation and performing routine checks on the vehicle’s condition, providing excellent customer service during deliveries and collections .
Qualifications
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Maximum of 6 points on driving licence
- Proven experience in tanker driving
- Strong understanding of driving regulations , safety procedures and compliance
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with clients and the logistics team
- Ability to manage vehicle records, conduct routine inspections, and maintain compliance with safety and traffic regulations
- Good understanding of transportation operations and ability to work independently under minimal supervision
- Ability to adhere to a consistent schedule and handle physically demanding tasks
