We are looking for a confident Bank Care & Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding healthcare. You’ll have the opportunity to pick up 12 hour shifts that suit your lifestyle, supporting our service users at Hawkstone House in Keighley.
Hawkstone is a specialist residential service in Bradford, West Yorkshire, supporting people with learning disabilities, complex needs and behaviours that may challenge. Job Duties
- Offer enhanced care with a flexible, learning approach for all residents.
- Provide guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
- Learn about each individual’s specific needs and provide help in the most appropriate way.
- Assist with and report on medical and welfare needs.
- Safeguard and maintain a safe, clean environment for all.
- Support service users to access the community, including work, college, hobbies, activities, days out and holidays.
- Support service users to grow, develop and learn through tasks such as cooking and cleaning.

- Genuinely driven with a desire to make a real difference in people’s lives.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong team player.
- Sensitive and intuitive, with the energy required to provide a trusting, stimulating and varied environment.
- Able to empower and support service‑user independence.
