Teaching Assistant

Location: Neath

Start Date: September 2026

Salary: £85.50 per day

We are looking for a proactive Teaching Assistant to support both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 across the school day, working closely with the classroom teacher to facilitate learning activities, small group interventions and pupil engagement.

Responsibilities

• Assist the class teacher with classroom activities and lesson delivery
• Provide small group and individual support to pupils in KS1 and KS2
• Maintain a positive learning environment throughout the school day
• Support the effective implementation of safeguarding policies

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification desirable
• Experience working within a UK primary school setting
• Experience supporting children across KS1 and KS2
• Strong communication and classroom support skills
• Positive and patient approach to supporting pupils
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
