Salary: GBP15.5 – GBP15.5 per hour

The Best Connection Tamworth are currently recruiting for an experienced TIG Welder to join a busy engineering and manufacturing industry client based in Kingsbury, Tamworth. This TIG Welder role offers an immediate start and consistent daytime hours within a well-established manufacturing industry environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled TIG Welder looking to work in Tamworth within the manufacturing industry, producing high-quality metal components.

Location: Kingsbury, Tamworth

Pay: £15.50 per hour

Hours:

• Monday – Thursday: 07:00 – 16:00
• Friday: 07:00 – 12:00

Key Responsibilities

• TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminium, and other metals
• Preparing and working from cutting lists
• Finishing materials ready for welding
• Marking up materials accurately
• Setting up and operating welding equipment
• Inspecting welds for cracks, defects, and surface quality
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Ensuring all work meets high-quality standards

Requirements

• Proven experience as a TIG Welder
• Experience working with stainless steel, aluminium, and other metals
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Reliable and able to work independently or within a team
