Sterile Services Operative

Main duties of the job
As part of the support team we are looking to recruit sterile services operatives who will be based at both APH and CGH sites to provide decontamination of instruments and equipment.
The unit comprises a friendly and supportive team of around 30 members. We work in a purpose built, self‑contained unit which is certificated to ISO 13485 and Medical Devices Regulations 2002.
The work includes manual handling and wearing of PPE. Full training will be given to ensure the candidate can work effectively and safely within the team.
Staff may be expected to work occasional shifts in the Endoscopy Decontamination Unit, Clatterbridge site. Full training will be given on duties.
Person Specification / Qualifications
- Possess or be willing to complete an Apprenticeship related to Sterile Services
- Possess basic qualification in Maths and English (such as functional skills)
