We’re now looking for Floating Support Workers to join our Peripatetic Team in North Somerset. In this role, you’ll work across different homes and services, offering flexible, person‑centred support wherever it’s needed most.

Floating Support Workers bring energy, adaptability, and compassion to a range of teams. No two days are the same—your work will be guided by the people you support, their routines, and their goals.
Shift patterns and support
You’ll have varied shift patterns due to the nature of covering multiple services. This includes early, late, and occasional sleep‑in shifts depending on the needs of each home. You’ll be supported by our Senior Resource Allocation Manager, along with the leadership teams in each service you work in.
Responsibilities
- Build meaningful, trusting relationships
- Support people with activities they enjoy, both at home and out in the community
- Encourage independence and confidence
- Help with daily living tasks such as meal preparation, finances and personal care
- Support individuals who use wheelchairs or communicate in non‑verbal ways (full training provided)
- Work closely with colleagues to provide consistent, high‑quality support
