Salary: £25,949 (full time equivalent, paid on a pro‑rata basis). Location: Oswaldtwistle White Ash School, Thwaites Road, Oswaldtwistle, Accrington, BB5 4QG. School roll: 117.
Summary
White Ash successfully meets the needs of pupils with a diverse range of special educational needs from the ages of 4 to 11 years old. We are a happy, nurturing and successful school with extremely high expectations for all pupils. Our staff demonstrate dedication, empathy, enthusiasm and love, creating a truly magical learning environment for our very special young people.
Responsibilities
- Support SEN pupils across all phases in school.
- Establish positive relationships with children and young people.
- Assist within class, at lunchtimes, play duties, toileting and personal care.
- Provide support for pupils with complex learning difficulties.
Hours and Term
Part‑time, term‑time only. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 08:45 am – 03:00 pm; Wednesday 08:45 am – 04:15 pm. Fixed‑term contract until 31/12/2027 with possibility of extension.
