The Arc is a unique service and there is an exciting opportunity to recruit to a Senior Support Worker.
The ARC is an evolving service that is supporting a variety of people, some of whom have reablement needs, are Covid positive, need a place of safety, or a place to recover after a hospital admission.
The ARC’s CQC Registered Manager is dedicated in supporting the staff team to build a service that is person‑centred, responsive and an asset to Blackpool and the Fylde Coast.
The ARC works alongside health and social work colleagues to provide a holistic experience for the people who stay, usually for periods ranging from a few days to six weeks, occasionally longer.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of RSWs as a mentor, role model and shift leader.
- Support the team with admissions, discharges, medication administration and audits.
- Facilitate staff development and continuous improvement activities.
