About The Role
We are looking for Children’s Residential Support Workers who care about making every moment matter for the children and young people, regardless of qualifications or experience.
Whilst fully embracing the company ethos support workers provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower young people we support to achieve their goals and aspirations, respecting everyone’s individuality and enabling them to make appropriate choices to live the life they want to live.
Location: Liverpool
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Shifts: Days, evenings, nights, weekends

- You will need to be adaptable and flexible with excellent communication skills and able to work as part of our team.
- Experience of challenging behaviour and/or learning disabilities is preferred but all training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- To provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower the children and young people to achieve their goals and aspirations, respecting everyone’s individuality and enabling them to make appropriate choices to live the life they wish, in line with their individual support plans.
- Promote the health, well-being, physical, emotional, cultural and spiritual beliefs and ensure they are met in an inclusive way.
- Facilitate social, educational or work activities such as visiting family and friends, walks, shopping and other recreational activities of their choice.
- Perform general housekeeping duties that can include shopping, domestic duties as well as, possibly, elements of personal care.
- As part of the role, complete a range of records and documents.

About The Service
Millie’s House is a single level, self‑purpose‑built home. Built for up to 5 children with complex medical needs and learning difficulties, who we can support up until their 18th birthday.
