About the Client

Steve is a warm, sociable and humorous gentleman living with an Acquired Brain Injury following a road traffic collision. He lives with his wife and adult children in a welcoming family home. Steve follows a structured rehabilitation programme designed by his MDT, including Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Speech and Language Therapy. He requires support that balances therapy, rest and meaningful activities, while maintaining his dignity, independence and routine.

The Role

You will support Steve as part of a dedicated team, using calm prompts and visual cues to assist with daily routines, mobility, personal care and rehabilitation goals. The role requires excellent communication, consistency and the ability to follow detailed MDT guidance. Steve benefits from support workers who are patient, observant and engaging, while understanding the importance of pacing interaction to avoid overstimulation and fatigue.

The night role involves providing calm, attentive overnight support, including monitoring well‑being, continence care, mobility assistance, comfort, observations, and administering prescribed medication.
