Garstang, Lancashire – Contract Position – Full-time / Part-time considered.

About the Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support pupils across the primary age range. You’ll help create a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting children with their learning in the classroom
• Working with pupils one-to-one or in small groups
• Encouraging confidence, independence, and positive behaviour
• Assisting with lesson activities and classroom preparation
• Providing care, reassurance, and encouragement throughout the school day

About You

• Kind, patient and enthusiastic
• Passionate about supporting children’s learning and wellbeing
• Comfortable working as part of a team
• Reliable and eager to learn
• Experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a childcare/education setting is desirable but not essential
• Graduate, career changer, or anyone considering a future career in teaching or education support is welcome
