The Governors are seeking to appoint two experienced anddedicated Special Support Assistants to assist two children with additionallearning needs – both in Year 1 in September.
The children have EHCPs for their learning needs. One child adiagnosis of ASD and the other child has Speech, Language and Communication needs.
We are looking for staff to support the children in all areas ofthe curriculum and to ensure their safety throughout the school day. An abilityto differentiate some of the curriculum would be desirable so that appropriatelearning materials can be modified to meet the needs of the pupils. Experienceof working with ASD children/complex needs is essential.
Enthusiasm, energy and knowledge of how children learn areessential. Appropriate qualifications to Level 2 are required and GCSE in Mathsand English – Grade C or above are essential.
