Production Operative

Overview

Our client is a leading supplier of aluminium and magnesium castings for the aerospace and defence industries. They are looking for a hard working and conscientious individual to join their Foundry team.

Responsibilities

• Fill pattern boxes with foundry sand.
• Quality check moulds.
• Assemble moulds and cores ready for the metal pour.
• Use hand and air tools to remove any rough surfaces from moulds.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• The ability to safely and accurately use hand and air tools.
• A degree of physical fitness as the role involves periods of standing and manual handling.

Hours of work

Monday-Thursday #removed# and Friday #removed#. 38 hours a week.
