Job Details

• Pay rate:£14.47 per hour, weekly pay every Friday
• Overtime after 40 hours: £18.09
• Paid breaks
• Shift pattern: Monday – Friday with 6am start
• Occasional Saturdays – 9 hour runs
• Industry: Waste & Recycling

Duties & Responsibilities

• Drive and operateskip loaders and RoRo vehicles
• Deliver and collect skips from domestic and commercial sites
• Ensure safe loading, unloading, and secure transportation
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance
• Follow all road safety and compliance regulations
• Provide professional and friendly customer service

Person Specification

• Able to meet the essential physical requirements of the role including lifting and carrying
• Ability to adapt quickly to a fast paced, dynamic work environment
• Previous experience within a waste & recycling industrial environment would be an advantage
• Good team player and communicator
• Able to perform various tasks including moving bulky items and loading the vehicle outside in all weather conditions
