Support Security Officer

Overview

Support Security Officer required to cover Leeds Area, £13.45 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Protect the customer’s property, people and assets in accordance with the Site’s published Assignment Instructions (AIs) and any subsequent changes.
• Deliver results that meet or exceed the Key Performance Indicators/Service Level Agreements, ensuring the contract is retained.
• Complete all tasks and duties on site as defined within the Assignment Instructions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, legal and regulatory requirements as directed by the Security Account Manager and UK law.
• Maintain all required licences (Front‑line Security Guard, Door Supervision, CCTV PSS SIA) and renew them 16 weeks before expiry.
• Apply safety procedures, report hazards, threats or incidents immediately and complete accurate incident reports.
• Follow instructions and procedures, work methodically, and maintain professional conduct in all situations.
• Ensure check calls are made at allocated times and coordinate with the Communication Centre on any emergencies.

Training and Development

• Complete all required competency training and ongoing professional development.
• Use technology to achieve key work objectives and improve job knowledge.

Qualifications

• Previous security experience.
• Valid SIA Licence.
• SC Clearance desirable.
