Salary (Actual Salary): £17.83 – £35.78 per hour, dependent upon experience
Working Pattern: Casual Contract, Term Time Only
Are you passionate about raising student attainment and providing personalised support to help every pupil reach their potential?
Join us as a One to One Maths Tutor, where you will be key to planning, implementing, and delivering a broad, balanced, and differentiated curriculum for individual students. This vital role involves delivering intervention programmes, encouraging academic growth, and positively promoting the inclusive ethos of the Academy.
Responsibilities
- Deliver intervention programmes to individuals and work with department staff to prepare and implement appropriate learning experiences.
- Assist in developing suitable intervention material, lesson plans, and resources.
- Report on individual pupil progress and regularly liaise with the Head of Department and teachers to provide feedback.
- Support exam revision sessions and comply with Child Safeguarding Procedures at all times.
Qualifications
- Graduate in a related subject or an AS/A2 level in a relevant subject or a qualified teacher.
- Excellent communication and listening skills, strong time management and organisational skills.
- Experience supporting students with science work up to GCSE level and working knowledge of standard computer packages. Experience working in a school environment is desirable.
