Job Overview
We are looking for a dedicated part‑time Teaching Assistant for September 2026. The role is fixed term, initially 6 months, and will cover two main periods: MDSA (12:00‑13:00), TA Level 3 (13:00‑15:30), and club work (15:30‑16:30). Working days are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Responsibilities
Support classroom learning and deliver targeted interventions for individuals and small groups. Provide assistance to senior staff in the provision of high quality education. Cover occasional absences as required, with additional hours paid via a pay claim.

This post is covered by the Childcare Disqualification Regulations 2018. Applicants must not be disqualified under these regulations and will need to provide a self‑declaration confirming this.
Staff must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS check (or an equivalent check for regulated activity) and should be aware of the school’s Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy.

Contract and Hours
Hours: 13.5 per week. Working pattern: part‑time, term‑time only (39 weeks of the school year plus 6.05 weeks annual leave, which will increase after five years of continuous service). Salary will be pro‑rata.
