Our client is a global investment and advisory firm with over $8.4 billion in assets under management. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Fund Associate / Assistant Fund Accountant to join their London-based Fund Operations team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or part-qualified candidate to build a long-term career in fund finance within a highly respected international investment platform.
Working closely with experienced finance leaders, you will gain broad exposure across fund operations, investor reporting, and financial processes while receiving full ACA support through the ICAEW.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with quarterly investor reporting and year-end fund audits.
- Support the calculation and processing of investor drawdowns and distributions.
- Co-ordinate invoice payments and monitor fund bank accounts, including reconciliations.
- Process key financial documents from underlying fund managers, including valuations and financial statements.
- Liaise with internal teams and external service providers to ensure seamless fund operations.
- Contribute to wider projects and assist other teams such as Investments and Corporate Finance.
Requirements
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles; any accounting-related experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- A team player who is curious, proactive, and keen to learn in a fast-paced environment.
