Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and confident managing both numbers and people?

Do you thrive in fast-paced environments where no two days look the same, and you’re the person keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes?

A growing, global media business is looking for an Office Assistant & Bookkeeper to become the backbone of its day-to-day operations.

This is a varied, hands-on role combining bookkeeping, office coordination, and front-of-house responsibilities — ideal for someone proactive, adaptable, and confident juggling multiple priorities.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing accounts payable/receivable, invoices, and financial records
  • Supporting bookkeeping tasks including reconciliations and expense tracking
  • Maintaining accurate records within accounting systems (e.g. Sage)
  • Acting as a front-of-house presence — greeting visitors and managing deliveries
  • Coordinating office operations, supplies, and vendor relationships
  • Supporting scheduling, travel coordination, and team logistics
  • Keeping internal systems, databases, and asset registers up to date
  • Assisting with general admin and supporting a smooth-running office environment

What You’ll Bring

  • 1–2 years’ experience in bookkeeping or office administration
  • Strong attention to detail and financial accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting systems (Sage or similar)
  • Highly organised with the ability to multitask and prioritise
  • Adaptability — comfortable being interrupted and switching tasks
  • High level of reliability, discretion, and accountability

Success in this role is measured by accuracy, organisation, and your ability to keep both financial and operational processes running seamlessly.

£17,000 salary (20 hours per week)

Flexible working hours (ideal for school schedules)

Performance-related bonus scheme

Team events and a supportive company culture

Opportunity to grow within a stable, global business
