Job Title:Rolling Mill Operative

Pay:£13.35 – £14.35 per hour + bonus

Job Description:We are currently recruiting for a Factory Operative to join a busy manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will work as part of a team operating heavy machinery and developing skills across multiple areas of production.

Ideal Skill Requirements:

• Slitter operation
• Roll mill / rolling mill experience
• Band saw operation
• Overhead crane operation
• Machine operating experience
• FLT experience (desirable)

Shift Pattern:3-shift weekly rotation

• AM Shift: 06:00 – 14:00
• PM Shift: 14:00 – 22:00
• Night Shift: 22:00 – 06:00

Duties Include:

• Operating roll mill machinery within a team environment
• Working safely and efficiently in a manufacturing setting
• Developing skills in slitting, overhead crane operation, and FLT driving
• Following health and safety procedures at all times
• Working a rotating 3-shift pattern

Requirements:

• Previous factory or manufacturing experience essential
• Ability to work shift rotation
• Reliable, hands-on approach to work
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills
