Highways Maintenance Operative – Lancashire

What we are looking for:

• Self-employed basis
• Immediate start dates available
• Work rota – varying shifts, overtime, weekend working available
• All equipment and PPE provided
• Experience in Highways Maintenance
• Experience in asphalt – hand lay (essential)
• Experience lifting ironworks (desirable)
• Experience replacing or renewing kerbs & flags (desirable)
• Current CSCS card or proof of application (required)

Licences / Certifications required:

• Full UK Driving Licence (deal‑breaker)
• HGV Class 2 (deal‑breaker)
• CSCS / NRSWA (deal‑breaker)
• HGV Class 1 (desirable)
• Abrasive Wheels & Manual Handling (desirable)
• Ride on Roller (desirable)
• CAT & Genny (desirable)

Location availability:

Based out of Preston / Blackburn area in the County. Mobile worker on the road. Work locations include Lancashire.
