ELSA Qualified Teaching Assistant – Shard End
Part-time role (3.5 days per week).
Responsibilities
- Provide emotional literacy support to pupils across the school.
- Deliver 1:1 and small group ELSA interventions.
- Support children with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff.
- Help create a positive and nurturing learning environment.
Requirements
- ELSA qualification essential.
- Previous experience working within a school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient, empathetic, and supportive approach.
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
