ELSA Qualified Teaching Assistant – Shard End

Part-time role (3.5 days per week).

Responsibilities

• Provide emotional literacy support to pupils across the school.
• Deliver 1:1 and small group ELSA interventions.
• Support children with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff.
• Help create a positive and nurturing learning environment.

Requirements

• ELSA qualification essential.
• Previous experience working within a school setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, empathetic, and supportive approach.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
