Father Hudson’s Caritas has a vacancy for a Family Support Worker to cover 9 months maternity leave. To provide a range of support services to address social and emotional needs of children and their families. We are looking for an experienced Family Support Worker with knowledge and skills to undertake direct work with vulnerable primary and secondary aged children and their families. This is a school-based role, and you will be required to work in three schools.

This role iswhole year, and you will be required to work during some of the school holidays.

The salary scale for this post is SCP 27 paid at £30,572.55 per annumpro rata – actual pay £24,788.55

It is essential that you hold a full driving licence and have access to a car.

About Father Hudson’s Family Support

We are a bespoke service, offering a diverse range of support packages to the most vulnerable children and their families in local schools.

We work across the midlands, Newcastle under Lyme and Oxfordshire, providing 1;1 support in around 18 primary schools/High schools.

As a Family Support worker, you will be working directly with the individual children, their parents/carers, and working collaboratively with key staff in school to deliver a package of tailored interventions to strengthen and improve their outcomes, to build their resilience and help them to be the very best they can be.
