Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site HGV C1 & 2 Driver role located in Oxford. The role involves operating heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) safely and efficiently for the transportation of goods and materials. Responsibilities include adhering to transport regulations, conducting routine vehicle checks, and ensuring the highest standards of safety and performance. The driver will also maintain accurate delivery records and communicate effectively with the operations team to meet schedules and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Valid C1 & Class 2 HGV license and previous experience in HGV driving
- Knowledge of transport regulations and safety protocols
- Skills in basic vehicle maintenance and pre-trip inspections
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) qualification is required
- Experience in construction or waste sector logistics is an added advantage
