Residential Carer for Short Breaks – Disabled Children

Portsmouth City Council is looking for a dedicated professional to join the Beechside Short Break Service. You will work directly with children aged 5 to 18 with complex needs, providing compassionate care tailored to their individual requirements. This role involves liaising with other professionals and managing day-to-day care responsibilities.

Ideal candidates will hold a QCF Level 3 Diploma in residential childcare and have a strong understanding of the needs of children with disabilities. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are essential. A DBS check is required before employment.
