Casual Support Worker – 08/Cumnock/MT 08/04/2026 Personal Employer Cumnock
Hours: Casual as and when required
Hourly rate: £13.45
Location: Cumnock
Personal Assistant / Companion required to provide social support to a gentleman in Cumnock.
The gentleman is very independent and only uses a wheelchair when necessary. He uses oxygen and may at times feel up to going out, therefore companionship within his home is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide social support, accompanying the gentleman on outings to golf/fishing weather permitting and to appointments.
- Assist with other social activities.
- Occasionally assist with personal care, medication, preparing a meal/sandwich/drink.
- Drive the employer’s vehicle when required if the gentleman is unwell.
Qualifications
- Full driver’s licence.
- Reliable, trustworthy, respectful and aware of the importance of confidentiality.
