Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service in a dynamic catering environment? This hands-on, customer-facing role requires adaptability, attention to detail, and ideally a background in catering or hospitality.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Serving meals, snacks, and refreshments to students, staff, and visitors
  • Supporting a variety of events including weddings, conferences, and corporate functions
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety
  • Operating tills
  • Preparing and serving barista-style drinks
  • Ensuring compliance with food hygiene and health & safety regulations
  • Youll work a range of daily 7-hour shifts between 7:30am and 5:30pm, Monday to Friday; may include evenings and weekends on a 5 over 7 contract with notice
  • Flexibility to work at other campuses to meet departmental needs

What Were Looking For

  • Experience in catering or food service in a busy environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • High standards of personal hygiene and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to cover holidays, absences, and special events
  • Barista training or willingness to learn

  • Permanent full-time – 5 over 7 days (flexible shifts including weekends)
  • Grade 2 £23,350 – £26,093 + 3% flexibility incentive
