Contract: 6 Months +

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Site Relationship Manager (SRM) to act as the strategic interface between Digital/IT functions and a large industrial manufacturing site.

This is a business-facing, relationship-driven role focused on enabling operational delivery, shaping the site-level digital roadmap, and ensuring digital solutions effectively support shop-floor and operational teams.

You’ll work closely with site leadership, operations, and digital teams to align priorities, manage demand, and drive adoption of digital solutions — acting as a trusted advisor rather than a hands‑on technical specialist.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with site leadership and operational stakeholders
  • Act as the single focal point for all Digital/IT activities at site level
  • Shape and maintain the local digital strategy and roadmap aligned to business priorities
  • Translate operational needs into clear digital demand and priorities
  • Coordinate digital deployments, ensuring alignment with production activities
  • Promote digitalisation and automation using existing digital products and services
  • Ensure business continuity for digital solutions used across the site
  • Lead stakeholder communication during incidents and support root cause analysis
  • Champion cyber security awareness and good IT/OT practices on site
  • Drive continuous improvement, challenge existing ways of working, and support change
  • Work with suppliers and service partners to monitor performance and service levels

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong stakeholder and relationship management experience
  • Background in IT, Digital, or Technology-enabled roles (hands‑on technical delivery not required)
  • Experience working in an industrial, manufacturing, or operational environment
  • Understanding of how digital and IT solutions support shop‑floor operations
  • Confident communicator, able to engage with both operational teams and senior leaders
  • Experience coordinating across multiple digital or IT domains

Nice to Have

  • Experience in roles such as IT Business Partner, Digital Business Partner, or Site IT Lead
  • Exposure to IT/OT environments
  • Awareness of cyber security practices in operational settings

Additional Information

  • Hybrid working available, with regular on‑site presence required
  • Occasional travel may be required
  • Role requires eligibility for export control / security clearance
  • Long‑term assignment with potential extension
