Quality Manager

Job Title: Quality Manager

Salary: £50,000–£65,000

Location: Leeds

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the company’s quality function, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and relevant industry standards
• Oversee quality systems, processes, and continuous improvement initiatives across the business
• Manage internal and external audits, ensuring all corrective actions are implemented and closed out effectively
• Lead root cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes
• Monitor and report on key quality metrics, identifying trends and improvement opportunities
• Work closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to improve product quality and reduce defects
• Manage and develop the quality team, providing training, guidance, and performance management
• Ensure customer complaints are investigated and resolved in a timely and professional manner

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in a Quality Manager or senior quality role within a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001 essential; additional standards advantageous)
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis abilities
• Experience managing audits and dealing with external auditors or customers
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence across all levels of the business
• Engineering or manufacturing background preferred
