Description

Are you an experienced MIG Welder/Fabricator looking to work on high‑quality, safety‑critical components within a stable and supportive environment? We’re recruiting for a MIG Welder/Fabricator to join a well‑established, family‑run manufacturing business in Daventry. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a variety of bespoke seating products for the automotive sector, where precision and craftsmanship are key.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Fabricating and welding a range of seating products and accessories
  • Working primarily with tubular steel to produce high‑quality assemblies
  • Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings
  • Operating a variety of workshop machinery including saws, press brakes, tube benders, and drill presses
  • Carrying out in‑process quality checks to ensure work meets required standards
  • Assisting with general maintenance of machinery and equipment
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized working environment

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in MIG welding
  • Ability to read and work from technical drawings
  • Experience within fabrication or a similar manufacturing environment
  • City & Guilds Level 2 in Welding & Fabrication or equivalent (preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Good level of written and spoken English
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
