Teaching Assistant – Year 2 SEND Support – Tameside
Full Time | Long Term Position
A Primary School in Tameside is looking to appoint a committed and resilient Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis supporting a child in Year 2 with challenging behaviour and SEND needs.
This role is a long‑term opportunity for a confident and proactive individual who can build strong relationships and provide consistent support within the classroom environment.
Ideal Candidate
- Has experience supporting children with SEND and challenging behaviour
- Ideally holds Team Teach Training
- Has a confident, friendly, and positive personality
- Is resilient and can remain calm under pressure
- Can work effectively alongside the class teacher and SENDCO
- Can provide tailored support to help the child engage positively with learning
