The schools are looking to appoint a Primary SEND LSA on a long-term basis with an immediate start. The successful Primary SEND LSA will be supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 with a range of additional needs, providing one-to-one and small group support, and helping to deliver engaging and accessible learning activities.
The successful Primary SEND LSA will have:
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
- Experience working within Primary schools or SEND provisions
- Experience supporting children with additional needs such as ASD, ADHD or SEMH
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A patient, caring and adaptable approach
- A can-do attitude and willingness to support across the classroom
