HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver – 4 Week Assignment
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hard-working HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver to join a busy waste management team on a 4-week assignment, offering consistent hours and straightforward work with an established national client.
Pay Rate: £17.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Start: Immediate start available
This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for regular weekday work, consistent hours, and a quick start.
The Role
- Safely drive and operate a refuse collection vehicle
- Work as part of a collection crew collecting household and commercial waste
- Complete daily routes efficiently and safely
- Follow all health & safety procedures and road regulations
- Carry out basic vehicle checks and complete relevant paperwork
- Work outdoors as part of a supportive team environment
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 2 Licence (clean licence preferred)
- Valid CPC Qualification
- Valid Digital Driver Card
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
