Quality Control Technician (x3)

Location: Norwich. Pay: £13.73 per hour. Contract: Full‑time temporary ongoing.

Our client is an engineering business based in Norwich.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Thursday 7:45–16:30 with an unpaid lunch break 12:30–13:00, Friday 7:45–12:15.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out quality inspections accurately and within agreed timescales.
• Inspect purchased goods at supplier sites and upon receipt.
• Inspect in‑house manufactured components and completed assemblies.
• Conduct inspections during build, final assembly, and on returned machines.
• Complete inspection paperwork and quality reports as required.
• Perform dimensional checks and investigations when needed.
• Calibrate measuring equipment including micrometres, verniers, and pressure gauges.
• Maintain calibration records and procedures.
• Monitor and report Standards Room temperature controls.
• Support the Quality Department with additional tasks as requested by management.
• Follow all health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Key Requirements

• Previous experience in a Quality Control or Quality Inspection role.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Confident using measuring equipment and inspection tools.
• Competent using company IT systems and Microsoft Office packages.
• Previous experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
